Newcastle council chiefs offer support after community champion's sudden death
Tributes have been paid to community champion Sandra Wiseman after she sadly died suddenly this week.
The 62-year-old, a regular attendee at meetings where issues affecting local residents were discussed, passed away on Monday.

Deputy Leader of Newcastle City Council, Cllr Karen Kilgour, expressed her condolences, saying: "We were very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Sandra Wiseman. Sandra was a very active member of the community, who regularly attended our meetings and always had valuable contributions to make. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her."
Cllr Kilgour added: "Our thoughts are with Sandra's family and friends at this very difficult time."
