Stars Look To Ride Road Muscle To Western Final

Dallas Holds 3-2 Series Lead

Game 7 Win Sets Up Second Round Clash With Avalanche

The Dallas Stars will look to flex their road muscle one last time against the Colorado Avalanche when the two teams meet in Game 6 of their Western Conference Semifinal series on Saturday night.

The Stars, who won Game 7 of their first-round series against the Minnesota Wild at home on Thursday night, will be looking to close out the Avalanche in Denver and advance to the Western Final.

Dallas has been strong on the road this postseason, going 3-1 in their four road games so far.

The Avalanche, meanwhile, will be looking to force a Game 7 back in Dallas on Monday night.

Colorado has won two of its three home games in the series, including a 5-3 victory in Game 5 on Thursday night.

The Avalanche will be without defenseman Cale Makar, who is out with an upper-body injury.

Makar is one of Colorado's top players, and his absence will be a big loss for the team.
